NorthMarq Capital Adds Sharon Plattner as Managing Director

NorthMarq Capital, a leader in financing commercial real estate throughout the United States, announced that Sharon Plattner has joined the company as managing director within the Freddie Mac production business. She brings 20 years of experience producing Freddie Mac loans through the seller/servicer network, along with direct production experience with borrowers.

Sharon spent a combined eleven years at Freddie Mac, most recently as the Director of Multifamily Production & Sales in the Southeast Region. She will be based in NorthMarq Capital’s Washington, DC office and will collaborate with the company’s Capital Services group and regional offices to support overall production.

In addition, Plattner is the co-president and co-founder of Real Estate Network Empowering Women (RENEW), Inc., a new commercial real estate finance organization targeting women in finance. She started the organization in 2017 and has already raised $200,000 to be used for the advancement of women in the industry. RENEW currently has over 190 members located in 16 states.
