These franchise owners also plan to open an IHOP on the ground floor of Lockwood Place, a mixed-use retail and office project situated on 600 East Pratt Street in Baltimore City later this year. Owned and managed by David S. Brown Enterprises, the complex features 90,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space in a three-story glass and steel building situated directly adjacent to downtown attractions including the National Aquarium in Baltimore and the Pier VI Concert Pavilion.

The Catonsville site represents the sixth location for the two brothers, who also own IHOP restaurants in Baltimore County (Catonsville); Howard County (Columbia and Jessup) and Prince George’s County (Forestville and Oxon Hill).

Concerning the Baltimore City location, Sunil Shrestha said, “We have been searching for the optimum space downtown for many months and believe this location places us in the center of activity based on its proximity to the harbor attractions. It is near the concert hall, tourist attractions and sports venues, as well as close to several apartments, hotels and office buildings. We plan to offer quick and high-quality meals as well as coffee bar to both residents, office workers and tourists.”
