Baltimore-based developer Klein Enterprises announced today that Harvest Fare Supermarket, a locally owned and operated full-service grocery store, will open in the Northwest Plaza Shopping Center in Baltimore City. It will be the third Harvest Fare location in Maryland for the father-son duo, Jim and Scott Streett.
“We are excited to see a local, independent grocer like Harvest Fare expanding into Northwest Plaza,” said William H. Cole, president and CEO of the Baltimore Development Corporation. “Having a quality, full-service grocery store serves as an important anchor to the center as well as providing an important amenity for the community.”
Harvest Fare will occupy 47,525 square feet of Northwest Plaza – joining Roses Discount Store, Rite Aid Pharmacy, Aaron’s, BB&T Bank and more.
“Harvest Fare has a strong record of supporting and connecting with the communities it serves, and we are pleased to welcome them to Northwest Plaza,” said Patricia Palumbo, director of leasing and marketing for Klein Enterprises.
The supermarket chain currently has stores in the Hamilton and Fallston neighborhoods and hosts year-round community events as well as actively supports schools, churches and local farmers and vendors in those communities.
The store is set to open on September 1 with a grand opening celebration in October. Updates and opening event information can be found on Harvest Fare Supermarket’s Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/
