BETAH Associates Wins Four Consecutive Event-Management Contracts from National Institutes of Health

7/19/18

BETAH Associates, a minority and woman-owned communications and event-management firm, has won four contracts from the National Institutes of Health (NIH). The multi-award NIH Conference, Administrative, and Travel Services Contract III (NIHCATS III) is a coveted award that was won through a highly competitive procurement process and awarded to only 13 vendors. This, in combination with a previously-awarded NIH Blanket Purchase Agreement, provides the Institutes with two vehicles for obtaining BETAH's conference and event management services. The other three awarded contracts are from: National Institute on Aging (NIA) for the "Butler-Williams Scholar Program", National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) for the "Sickle Cell in Focus" (SCiF) conference and National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) for the "20th Annual Udall Centers Meeting."

"In our 30th year, these awards are a testament to BETAH's steadfast commitment to providing quality event management services to our clients," says BETAH's President and CEO, Michelle Taylor. "As NIH was one of BETAH's first clients, it is an honor to strengthen this long-standing relationship by facilitating the various Institutes' efforts to assemble renowned scientists, researchers, and grantees to discuss advancements and innovations aimed at improving the lives of individuals and communities worldwide."

BETAH has provided event management services for hundreds of conferences, meetings, and trainings, ranging from panel reviews with fewer than twelve participants to large gatherings with more than 2000 attendees. Due to reduced travel budgets and restrictions, BETAH offers a range of cost effective virtual event solutions to engage large audiences remotely from webinars and webcasts to Twitter chats and Facebook Live.

About: BETAH Associates is a leading strategic communications and event management small business with multiple government contract vehicles including the GSA Professional Services Schedule. BETAH is also a minority and woman-owned firm celebrating its 30th year in operations and was most recently recognized on the prestigious Inc 5000 list of the nation's fastest-growing private companies.
