It’s almost time for the Baltimore Ravens to open training camp. But first, members of the team’s staff are talking data science.
At the Data Works MD meetup on Thursday, July 12, a pair of analysts from the Ravens are scheduled to talk about how data influences the team’s decisions. The event starts at 6:30, and will be at Betamore’s City Garagecampus.
“Data science and analytics are being used in every industry and profession,” said meetup organizer Jason Barbour. “I thought it would be very interesting to hear how an iconic Baltimore organization such as the Ravens are using data analysis to improve their performance on and off the field.”
