St. John Properties Reveals $1M Renovation Plan At Timonium Business Center

7/10/18

Three-phase program focusing on exterior enhancements expected to be completed this fall

St. John Properties, Inc. has revealed a $1 million renovation strategy planned for Timonium Business Center, a 189,000 square foot Flex/R&D building located at 2125-2240 Greenspring Drive in the Timonium section of Baltimore County. The three-phase program, which focuses on exterior enhancements to the one-story structure, has initiated and is expected to be completed in early fall 2018. The building is located adjacent to the Timonium Fair Grounds light rail station and is directly off the Timonium Road exit of Interstate 83.

The scope of the activity entails a comprehensive renovation of the exterior building façade including the installation of new awnings, signage and painting. Three complementary façade treatments will be used on the exterior, highlighted by a cornice architectural element. The work will be phased and isolated in specific sections of the building to minimize disruption to the daily operations of tenants.

“Our clients expect the highest quality of exterior and interior spaces and this program at Timonium Business Center demonstrates our continuing goal to maintain these standards across our portfolio,” explained Richard Williamson, Senior Vice President of Leasing and Marketing for St. John Properties. “A primary goal of these improvements is to lighten and brighten the exterior to enhance the visual aesthetics of the project.”

Constructed in the early 1970s, Timonium Business Center is among the first projects developed by St. John Properties. Several tenants at the project are among the longest tenured clients of the company.

St. John Properties, Inc., founded in 1971, owns and has developed more than 18.5 million square feet of Flex/R&D, Office, Retail and Warehouse space in Maryland, Colorado, Louisiana, Nevada, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Utah and Wisconsin. The company was named “2018 Developer of the Year” by NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association. For more information about the company visit www.sjpi.com.
