6/5/18

H&R Retail, a retail real estate brokerage firm, is pleased to announce that Great Clips has signed a lease at Monroe Street Market located at 655 Michigan Avenue in the northeastern quadrant of Washington, DC. Slated to open in August of 2018, Great Clips will occupy 960 square feet next to Starbucks.

Sean Harcourt, H&R Retail's Vice President of Leasing and David Ward, H&R Retail's President represented the landlord in the transaction. H&R Retail has exclusively represented the retail leasing component since the project broke ground in 2011. With the addition of Great Clips, the destination mixed-use project is now 97% leased. Current tenants include &Pizza, Busboys and Poets, Pinnacle Pint, Barnes & Noble, Potbelly Sandwich Works, KinderCare, BGR, and Chipotle Mexican Grill. “Great Clips is an excellent addition to the existing tenant mix of the project because it satisfies a need within this thriving Brookland community,” says H&R Retail President David Ward.
