Baltimore-based Auctioneer Alex Cooper will auction a replica home of the original “Samuel Owings House” located at 22 St. Thomas Lane, Owings Mills, MD 21117, during its on-premise auction scheduled for Tuesday, June 26th. Built in 2004, the “Samuel Owings House” is a close reproduction of the home once owned by the influential 18th century resident for which the Owings Mills region is named. Great considerations were taken to ensure the original design was maintained of the historic property, which was built in 1767 and was one of the 20 oldest surviving homes in the country at the time of its demolition. Prior to the demolition, exact measurements were taken of all features of the house, which included specific height and spacing of the windows, the huge welcoming porch and a massive custom door in order to maintain the original grandeur for when it was rebuilt.
The “Samuel Owings House” is a captivating all brick and stucco home with over 9,450 square feet of living space.
