The transaction team was led by Greysteel Senior Investment Associate Benjamin W. Wilson and Investment Associate Lauren McCormack of the firm’s Washington, D.C. Commercial and Mixed-Use team. The expedited transaction sold within two months at a price of over $400/SF with a non-refundable deposit to a private Buyer.
The National Bar Association had occupied the location since 1982 and while Located just two blocks from the Mt. Vernon Square / 7th St-Convention Center Metro Stop, the building will require significant renovations to bring it up to modern office standards.This deferred maintenance and changes in the organizations needs made a sale the best solution.
