Stanford Kitchen To Open In Baltimore County At Boulevard College Center In Owings Mills, Adjacent To Stevenson University Campus, On May 28

Sit-down restaurant represents newest upscale concept from Blueridge Restaurant Group which operates Stanford Grill sites in Columbia and Rockville

Stanford Kitchen, a chef-inspired, fresh cuisine restaurant that is part of the Blueridge Restaurant Group, plans to open within a 4200 square foot free-standing building at Boulevard College Center in the Owings Mills section of Baltimore County on May 28. Located directly off Owings Mills Boulevard in Owings Mills near Stevenson University, Boulevard College Center is a 55-acre business community managed by David S. Brown Enterprises, LTD. Blueridge Restaurant Group operates sit-down restaurant locations in Columbia and Rockville, Maryland, as well as Orlando, Florida.

The layout of Stanford Kitchen will feature an open kitchen that will enable patrons to watch their meals being prepared, booths equipped with black leather seats, wood accents and a wood paneled ceiling, a bar with garage doors that open and lead to the patio and outdoor seating with a fireplace. It was designed to ensure that patrons enjoy a memorable dining experience in a relaxed atmosphere that serves recognizable American food from a scratch kitchen. The restaurant will seat 130 not including the outdoor patio area. The bar will feature a wide array of specialty cocktails, beers on tap, and a large selection of wines.

Daily menu specialties will include wood-fired rotisserie chicken; barbeque pork ribs; wild mushroom meatloaf; grilled filet mignon; Ahi tuna and crab cakes. Stanford Kitchen will also offer “The Stanford” Cheeseburger which consists of grilled Angus beef, a veggie burger and a variety of salads such as rotisserie chicken, crab cake, chopped veggie and club with crispy chicken.

“Regular Stanford Grill patrons will recognize our welcoming staff, attention to detail and chef-inspired cuisine, but this new iteration of restaurant concept will be somewhat smaller with an emphasis on a relaxed dining experience,” said David Jones, Managing Member of Blueridge Restaurant Group. “We have many loyal followers in Baltimore County and this location, with excellent roadside visibility, will enable them to dine with us more regularly in the evenings and on weekends. The menu was developed to address the demand for classic American-style food, accented with our special twists, to create unique flavor profiles. As typical with all Blueridge Restaurant concepts, guests should expect a restaurant with a polished casual ambiance and top notch service.”

Boulevard College Center, a mixed-use project comprised of Class “A” office space, retail space and Stevenson University student housing residence buildings, is located adjacent to the Owings Mills campus of the University and the former Baltimore Ravens training facility. Current restaurant options include Outback Steakhouse, Bonefish Grill, Bon Fresco, Five Guys, Nino Taco, IHOP, Subway, Kavkaz Kebob, Dunkin’ Donuts, Edo Sushi and Tropical Smoothie Café.
