With Mother’s Day right around the corner, online restaurant reservation site, OpenTable, just released its ranking of the “100 Best Brunch Restaurants in America for 2018” and the Inner Harbor’s iconic Rusty Scupper Restaurant and Bar is one of four restaurants in Baltimore to make the list.
Rusty Scupper, located on the Inner Harbor, rises three levels above the water and boasts beautiful views from every table. The restaurant features a 270-seat open dining room, 75-seat bar and 200-seat upper deck with an outdoor patio that offers guests dramatic, sweeping views of Harborplace, the Inner Harbor, Harbor East and Fells Point.
The Live Jazz Brunch is held every Sunday and is an endless buffet of Chesapeake Bay inspired seafood and traditional breakfast items. Diners enjoy a variety of items including Choptank Maryland oysters; steamed shrimp; made-to-order omelets; hand-carved meat; seasonal fruit, salads and vegetables; Belgian waffles; and premium desserts. The restaurant also offers complimentary champagne, mimosas, Bellini’s and sangria.
OpenTable’s “100 Best Brunch Restaurants in America” list is generated from more than 12 million verified OpenTablediner reviews for more than 45,000 restaurants in all 50 states and Washington, D.C. collected between April 1, 2017 and March 31, 2018. All restaurants with a minimum "overall" score and number of qualifying reviews were included for consideration. Qualifying restaurants were then scored and sorted according to the percentage of reviews for which "great for brunch" was selected as a special feature.
