Ristorante FIRENZE Beer Garden Now Officially Open

The Peroni Beer Garden at Ristorante Firenze officially opened on May 4. Designed as a “laid back, casual spot to mingle with friends and recharge on weekends,” the beer garden includes Adirondack chairs, wooden benches and picnic tables to accommodate 75 people. Lighting is strung from tree to tree and a fire pit adds to the ambience.

Customers can dine from Firenze’s regular menu or the new beer garden lite fare menu featuring crab pretzels, pizza pretzels,subs such as Vinny’s Cheeseburger and Chippy’s Sausage; veal and beef burgers, and other sandwiches. Beverage options include an assortment of craft and imported drafts featuring Peroni, canned beer and cocktails, wine and soft drinks. Orders will be placed at the bar shack.

Live acoustic music will occur every Friday and Saturday, with games such as Bocce, Horseshoes, Giant Jenga and Corn hole also available..A smoking area will be designated towards the back of the space and restrooms will be onsite (and also available inside the restaurant).

“We’ve witnessed the increasingly popularity of beer gardens both locally and nationally, and feel now is the perfect time to utilize the grounds behind our restaurant to create a community gathering spot,” said Brian Leonardi, who co-owns Firenze with his brother, Larry. “Our beer garden will be a comfortable spot to socialize, listen to some good music and relax in an outdoor setting.”

Weather permitting, the beer garden will operate May through October during the following hours: Thursday and Friday: 4 to 11 p.m., and Saturday: noon to 11 p.m.The space also will be available to rent for fully catered and staffed events including corporate team building activities and birthday parties.
