Stacey Jenkins
Junior Achievement of Central Maryland Inc. (JA), a non-profit organization dedicated to educating young people to succeed in a rapidly changing economy, announced today that Stacey Jenkins, Vice President of Strategic Delivery Solutions at Aerotek,has been named amember of its Board of Directors.
Jenkins began her career in 1998 with TEKsystems, a sister company of Aerotek in a business operations role. After a series of promotions she later accepted the role of Regional Controller within Aerotek. In 2006, she was promoted to Director of Financial Operations and in 2011, was promoted to Executive director of Financial Operations. Because of her leadership and expertise, Stacey was promoted to her current role as Vice President of Strategic Delivery Solutions.
“Stacey’s extensive history in leadership and financial operations will be a great asset to the Junior Achievement team,” said Jennifer Bodensiek, President and CEO for JA of Central Maryland. “Her varied knowledge and leadership experience will greatly aid us and be of great help to all those we want to reach.”
Jenkins has served on Aerotek’s Executive Advisory Board, as well as on Aerotek’s Executive Diversity Council. Stacey was recognized as an influential female leader in the Staffing Industry Analysts’ Global Power 100 Women in Staffing List 2015.
Recently, Jenkins was awarded the YWCA 2017 TWIN Award honoring women who have made significant contributions to industry in management or executive positions. She is passionate about creating a path for women within the workplace and is committed to mentoring young leaders from all backgrounds within Aerotek. Jenkins is also very active within community schools and youth sports leagues. Jenkins graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park in 1998.
