On Friday, March 2, 2018 the Star-Spangled Banner Flag House Honored Dr. Redonda Miller with the 2018 Mary Pickersgill Award for Women’s Leadership in Business
The Mary Pickersgill Award began in 2012 and has become one of the Flag House’s signature events. Each year the award honors a woman who is a leader and a credit to her community much like Mary Pickersgill, the businesswoman and Baltimore resident who sewed the flag that inspired the Star Spangled Banner, was in 1813.
