Richard E. Craft, Jr.
The Baltimore City Chamber of Commerce, has named Richard E. Craft, Jr. as Chairman of the Board of Directors.
Craft is a registered financial adviser with Lincoln Financial Advisors. Craft is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM (CFP®), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) and a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®) while currently working on a Master’s Degree in Personal Financial Planning. He is a graduate of Dickinson College. Craft assumed his duties as Chairman of the Chamber Board of Directors on January 1, 2018. Previously, Craft had been involved in Chamber committee work. He chaired the Events Committee of the Chamber.
The Baltimore City Chamber of Commerce was founded in 1991 by a group of small business persons, representing a mosaic of businesses, by providing a voice for commerce in Baltimore City.
Upon assuming his duties, Craft stated“it is and honor to serve as Chairman of the Baltimore City Chamber of Commerce. In this position I will endeavor to ensure there is a strong board in place, committees are functioning and the Chamber Is serving the needs of Baltimore businesses, with particular focus on working with small businesses. Baltimore small businesses are an essential part of the economy of Baltimore City”.
Craft said, “My emphasis will be adapting to the needs of the membership by providing diverse programs and advocacy”. Craft is prepared to meet with businesses and government officials to assist and improve the economy of Baltimore City.
