SANS Announces its Return to Northern Virginia for Cyber Security Training Event

1/16/18

SANS Institute, the global leader in cyber security training, today announced SANS Northern Virginia Spring - Tysons 2018 taking place March 17-24. The event features hands-on immersion style training courses to help security professionals learn the latest tools and techniques to defeat cyber attackers.

According to SANS certified instructor Chris Christianson (@cchristianson), "It seems not a day goes by without us hearing about some organization suffering a data breach. And if the breach is less than a 100 million records, it may not even make the news. Breaches happen despite organizations spending large amounts of money on information security. Want to know what an organization can do to really secure information? Join me in Northern Virginia where I will help individuals learn exactly what they can do to increase securing data during the SEC440: Critical Security Controls: Planning, Implementing, and Auditing course. Then in SEC401: Security Essentials Bootcamp Style, an intense 6 Day Bootcamp Style class, we will build upon those ideas to help individuals develop their technical skills to be successful."
