Loyola University preseason All-Patriot League guards Andre Walker and Bri Betz-White have always had a lot in common on the basketball court.
Now, after getting an opportunity that few NCAA Division I basketball players are afforded, the senior captains also share an off-the-court life experience neither imagined possible.
Betz-White is the leading returning scorer for the Greyhound women's team, a preseason All-Conference selection and Player of the Year candidate. Walker has the same credentials on the men's side. During the spring and summer, they took advantage of an opportunity to study for a month in Spain as part of Loyola's Study Abroad Program.
