Navy Football Will Use Bye Week To Regroup

The bye week could not have come at a better time for the Navy football team.

Quarterback and leading rusher Zach Abey suffered a concussion in the previous game against Central Florida Oct. 21, and the Midshipmen have lost two straight games, knocking them out of first place in the American Athletic Conference West Division.

Navy head coach Ken Niumatalolo will use the time off to get his team to regroup before playing at Temple Nov. 2.

"The good news is that we're still 5-2, and I feel like we're not playing clean." Niumatalolo said. "Turnovers and penalties are a thing that has not been a part of our program, and they've both plagued us this year."
