Catcher Welington Castillo signed a one-year contract with the Orioles for $6 million with a $7 million player option for 2018. Despite two stints on the disabled list in 2017, Castillo hit a career-high 20 home runs in 96 games and his .282 average was the best of his eight years in the majors.
