Orioles Have A Ball In New Uniforms, Win Big In Boston

Like every team in major league baseball, the Orioles participated in Players Weekend, and the nicknamed Orioles had a fun time at Fenway Park.

With the American League East-leading Boston Red Sox committing five errors, Mamba, Mr. Miami and Crush led the way. Those were the names chosen by second baseman Jonathan Schoop, third baseman Manny Machado and first baseman Chris Davis for the back of their uniforms, and they were punctuated by a blinding orange cap.

Designated hitter Mark Trumbo and right fielder Seth Smith, who simply wore their last names on the jerseys that are being used this weekend, enjoyed themselves, too.
