Ravens coach John Harbaugh acknowledged wide receiver Breshad Perriman is dealing with a "long-term" hamstring injury. Although Harbaugh said Perriman is making progress, it seems increasingly likely the former first-round draft pick will miss the entire preseason.
Perriman has been sidelined since he injured his hamstring running a pattern in practice Aug. 1. Of course, any injury to Perriman is cause for concern, as the third-year receiver missed his entire rookie season with a knee injury that was initially described as day-to-day.
Harbaugh has said he won't be providing updates on injuries during training camp unless they are season-ending, and when asked about Perriman's extended absence, he said, "Nothing's changed with Breshad. He's a long-term hamstring guy, in terms of from when he did it. It's a pretty good hamstring [injury] that he had. He's making progress. Everything is on schedule, and they're happy with the way he's progressing."
