The Baltimore Ravens are interested in signing running back Bobby Rainey after running back Kenneth Dixon suffered a knee injury, according to reports.
Dixon reportedly suffered a torn meniscus and will require surgery. It's Dixon's third injury since the Ravens selected him in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft. A torn meniscus typically takes six-to-eight weeks for recovery.
Rainey, 29, played in 15 games with the New York Giants in 2016, rushing 17 times for 63 yards with no touchdowns. He also caught 20 passes for 153 yards. The Ravens reportedly were interested in re-signing Rainey before the Dixon injury.
