Here are this week's rankings:
1. Los Angeles Dodgers (64-29 overall record, No. 1 ranking last week) -- They have been on quite the roll, winning 29 of their past 35. Rumors abound that they are hot to trot for Orioles closer Zach Britton.
2. Houston Astros (62-30, No. 2) -- I am hearing Houston wants to be all-in on Britton, too.
3. Washington Nationals (55-36, No. 6) -- Was the trade in which they acquired right-hander Ryan Madson and left-hander Sean Doolittle from the Oakland Athletics to solve their bullpen woes their grand stroke? Does Nationals general manager Mike Rizzo know neither was closing for the A's?
