I'm not the guy the Ravens are trying to market to with their preseason broadcast crew. I don't like preseason football. I try everything in my power to avoid watching it if possible.
So when I tell you I've never liked the Ravens' preseason simulcasting on radio and TV, my opinion can be quickly dismissed. Whether they simulcast the games or not, I'm unlikely to watch. I'm even less likely to enjoy.
That said, I loved this week's news that the Ravens have added former head coach Brian Billick to their broadcast team for the preseason. It's sort of strange they will go with one group of broadcasters for preseason games and then a different team for regular-season games (on the radio), but I still like the move.
