In the next few weeks, and certainly by the end of the season, the Orioles will have to make a decision on Wade Miley. After watching the left-hander huff and puff his way through five innings June 28, the decision was not made any easier.
Miley was the losing pitcher in the Orioles' 4-0 loss to the Toronto Blue Jays, and while he wasn't awful, he wasn't very effective either.
His line -- four runs, one of them unearned, on six hits and four walks in five innings -- was like a number of his other games. His ERA ticked slightly upward from 4.48 to 4.54.
