Keys' Austin Hays 'Just Playing Every Day And Having Fun Doing It'

Despite completing the first half of the season in last place in the Carolina League's Northern Division with a 31-38 record, the High-A Frederick Keys had four players named to the Carolina League All-Star Game in Salem, Va., June 20, including outfielder Austin Hays, who joined Glenn Clark Radio June 16 to discuss the season and the Keys' all-stars.

"We've definitely got a lot of talent on this team" Hays said."We've got a lot of guys that can play. We've just struggled a little bit to put it all together at one time. We struggled early in the year with pitching and our hitting was getting hot. Our starting pitching has been good lately, the past couple weeks, and our hitting has struggled a little bit. If we can get those two to work together at the same time, hopefully we can get on a streak."
