Five Home Runs Power Orioles In Big Offensive Win

At least for one day, it was like the old days for the Orioles. Balls were flying out of Oriole Park, and the Orioles romped to a win.

After eight losses in nine games, the Orioles hit five home runs in a 15-7 win over the St. Louis Cardinals before 27,788 on June 17.

Center fielder Adam Jones and designated hitter Mark Trumbo hit back-to-back home runs in the first. Third baseman Manny Machado hit a two-run shot in the second and second baseman Jonathan Schoop hit two home runs, a two-run shot in the fourth and a solo in the seventh.
