Adams Natural Resources Fund EVP Nancy J. Floyd Prue Retires

Adams Natural Resources Fund, Inc. (PEO) announces that after 35 years with the Company and its sister fund, Adams Diversified Equity Fund, Inc. (ADX), Nancy J. Floyd Prue, Executive Vice President and a member of the Company's senior management team, has retired. Ms. Prue joined ADX in 1982 as a research analyst. She transitioned to PEO in 1986 as Vice President-Research, and was promoted to Vice President in 2005, and Executive Vice President in 2009, when she was made a member of the portfolio management team. She was elected President of the Company in 2012 and served in that role until 2015. She served as Executive Vice President, Director of Shareholder Communications for PEO and ADX from 2015 until her retirement.

Mark Stoeckle, CEO of Adams Funds, said, "I would like to thank Nancy for her outstanding service to the Company and our shareholders over the past 35 years. Nancy has made numerous contributions to this organization and has been instrumental in building Adams Funds into what it is today. She will be greatly missed. We wish her all the best in retirement."

Ms. Prue graduated summa cum laude from Villanova University. She earned an MBA and JD from the University of Baltimore. Ms. Prue is also a graduate of Wharton Business School's Advanced Management Program. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst, a member of the Baltimore CFA Society, of which she is a past president, and a member of the Maryland State Bar Association. She is also a member and past president of the National Association of Petroleum Investment Analysts.
