6/15/17

By Todd Karpovich, PressBox

Taylor Cummings is one of the most decorated players in the history of women's lacrosse, so it's no surprise she now serves as an ambassador for the game. She was an All-American at McDonogh, where she was a member of four IAAM lacrosse championship teams, including undefeated squads in 2010, 2011 and 2012. Cummings then was a standout midfielder at the University of Maryland, where she became the first three-time Tewaaraton Award winner. Cummings was also a four-time IWLCA first-team All-American. She owns her own company, Taylor Cummings Lacrosse, and also has a deal with Under Armour to promote the sport.

PressBox: How has it been working with Under Armour to grow the game of lacrosse?

Cummings: It's been a really awesome experience. Learning the ins and outs of the business side of the game, as well as the equipment development piece, has been really cool. UA is looking to push the boundaries of the game and continue to innovate, and I'm so proud to be a part of it.
