Maryland men's basketball head coach Mark Turgeon made Aaron Wiggins "a priority," the four-star recruit from High Point, N.C., said on Glenn Clark Radio June 13.
Turgeon and assistant coach Bino Ranson made the trip to see Wiggins work out near the end of his junior year at Wesleyan Christian Academy in North Carolina. The pairing then planned an in-home visit, and the meeting settled Wiggins' mind heading into his senior season.
The 6-foot-6, 180-pound shooting guard/small forward signed for the Terps, the first player in Turgeon's 2018 recruiting class.
