Johnson and Contreras each have more than twenty years of experience servicing investment advisers and private funds, including hedge funds and private equity.

Johnson is an accomplished CPA who previously worked with a global third party administrator and two international accounting firms. She is responsible for tax compliance and consulting, U.S. foreign reporting, FATCA and CRS compliance, client relations, business development support, recruiting, internal education, and mentoring employees. Johnson has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Bentley University, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of CPAs.

Contreras is an industry veteran who advises on complex tax matters and tax compliance for investment advisers and the owners of closely held businesses within the alternative investment community. Specializing in the taxation of flow-through entities, his experience includes indirect taxation, multi-state taxation, and controversy work. Contreras also helps the firm with business development, identifying industry trends, responding to new market opportunities, recruiting, training, and mentoring staff. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from New Jersey City University.
