MileOne Automotive Group, the Mid-Atlantic's largest automotive retail group, announced today the hiring of Lisa A. Olivieri, Esq. as vice president and general counsel.

Olivieri joins the team from Thomas & Libowitz, P.A., where she served as part of MileOne’s corporate counsel team for the past 17 years. As vice president and general counsel for MileOne, Olivieri will lead acquisition activities and will oversee the comprehensive legal and compliance infrastructure serving MileOne’s 74 franchises.

Prior to joining Thomas & Libowitz, P.A., Olivieri’s background was in education. She worked for the University of Maryland, Baltimore County as the coordinator of housing.

Olivieri earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from American University in 1994, a Master of Arts degree from Columbia University’s Teachers College in 1995, a Master of Business Administration degree from the the University of Baltimore Merrick School of Business and her Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law, where she graduated magna cum laude, both in 2001.

An active member of the community, Olivieri is a board member on the Howard Community College Education Foundation and is chairman of the board of the Bright Minds Foundation. She is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association and the American Bar Association, and an adjunct faculty member for Howard Community College.
