Last week, Ed Gunts covered a testy community meeting at the Radisson Cross Keys that featured more than 200 North Baltimore residents discussing a developer’s planned six-story, 128-unit apartment building off of Falls Road and Northern Parkway. Many gathered to ask why now, not earlier, had Councilman Isaac “Yitzy” Shaffer called a public meeting to get feedback from members of the public about the project.
In one public tiff, the developer, Jonathan Ehrenfeld of Blue Ocean Realty, asked a resident who was there to oppose the plan why he’d asked earlier on if he could join in as an investor. (The man responded that he wanted to work from the inside and help plan the project.)
