The firm was awarded a Merit Award by the Potomac Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects.

Hord Coplan Macht is pleased to announce that its McHenry Row II project received a Merit Award from the Potomac Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects. Presented at the organization’s annual gala, the awards program recognizes projects that demonstrate a superior quality of design and execution.
McHenry Row II is an adaptive reuse project representing Phase 2 of an urban infill master plan, transforming a 20th century manufacturing plant into 21st century offices in south Baltimore.
The landscape weaves historical and modern. Taking cues from the glass addition, the design is contemporary. Warm wood, cool concrete and crunchy gravel provide a tactile garden for people to enjoy. The path features jogs and partitions providing a variety of experience and space. Plantings treat rain water and the green roof bridges between buildings.
