Patrona Corporation, a leading small business service provider to the U.S. Navy and DoD, today announced the hiring of Dr. Joseph M. Bradley, former U.S. Navy Submarine Force Captain and Ph. D., Engineering Management, as Principal Engineer. Dr. Bradley will be providing support for the development and validation of the COLUMBIA Class submarine life cycle.
Dr. Bradley brings more than 35 years of experience in ship operations, maintenance, repair and organizational design to Patrona. He is highly respected for his technical skill, leadership, innovative solutions and focus on personnel and organization development, and was repeatedly called upon to start new activities for the U.S. Navy. Dr. Bradley has led initiatives that resulted in the broad adoption of Theory of Constraints within the Navy’s ship maintenance community, efforts to improve quality performance, and the development of educational programs to improve individual and organizational performance.

Prior to joining Patrona, Dr. Bradley was President of Leading Change, LLC, which he founded as a vehicle to continue research and consulting to industry and government. Immediately in demand, he assisted several organizations in solving global, long term, complex problems.
Dr. Bradley earned his Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) degree from The Cooper Union in New York and his Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering (MSME), as well as his Professional degree of Mechanical Engineer (ME), both with distinction, from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California. He obtained his Ph.D. in Engineering Management from Old Dominion University, in Norfolk, Virginia. Dr. Bradley holds a license as registered professional engineer from the state of California.
