After his arrest on three drug-related charges in Miami early Feb. 26, safety Matt Elam's time in Baltimore is finished, as the Ravens confirmed via a statement that they do not intend to bring back the free agent safety in 2017.
The news was recognized on Baltimore sports Twitter with conversation regarding whether Elam was the biggest "bust" in team history.
And since Feb. 26 was Oscars night, it seemed fitting we do this by selecting a winner from a list of nominees. (For the record, I did everything in my power to make a Ravens-related "Gary from Chicago" pun here. The closest I could get was that Gary Kubiak was once replaced by the former head coach in Chicago. And you thought seeing "Suicide Squad" was a waste of time.)
