Darius Victor wants NFL teams to know he's healthy.
"I could just say [I'm healthy] and then, God willing, I get an opportunity to prove it, because actions speak louder than words," the former Towson running back said on Glenn Clark Radio Feb. 20. "I'm a man of my word; if I tell you something, I'm going to back it up. So if anyone's listening, I'm healthy, I'm ready to go."
Victor only played four games during his senior year before a toe injury ended his season, but he decided he was ready for the next step of his career. Now, he's preparing for the 2017 NFL Draft, and he says he has the ability to help an NFL team.
"I'm always getting tackled going forward, I play hard, I can catch," Victor said. "I believe that I'm a great football player. I'm coachable; I'm a nice guy. You won't have to worry about me on and off the field. I just love the game of football, and I won't do anything to jeopardize my opportunity of playing football."
