The Orioles acquired left-handed pitcher Vidal Nuno from the Dodgers in exchange for minor league reliever Ryan Moseley Feb. 19. Nuno gives the Orioles another reliever capable of getting both left-handed and right-handed hitters out. Here are five things to know about the 29-year-old from National City, Calif.

Though the Orioles will likely use Nuno as a reliever, he also has experience starting games. During his first four major league seasons, Nuno made 42 starts, pitching to a 4.40 ERA. He had more success in 84 relief appearances, pitching to a 3.14 ERA.
