Early in the offseason, the Ravens' inevitable coaching-staff changes focused on an unbalanced offense.
But as the staff has now rounded into form, the 2017 coaching fraternity has seen most of its changes take place on the defensive side of the ball.
The Ravens formally announced several previously announced staff alterations Feb. 14, changes that include the installation of the first defensive line assistant in the team's 21-plus seasons, Drew Wilkins.
A University of Maryland graduate, the 29-year-old Wilkins is entering his eighth year with the Ravens, working primarily with the scout team and helping defensive line coach Joe Cullen with his unit but without the assistant's title.
