It's easy to make Orioles fans happy. Just bring back an old favorite.
When the Orioles signed Robert Andino to a minor league contract Feb. 6, fans were overjoyed. No matter that, barring injuries, there doesn't appear to be a place for Andino on the 25-man roster and he was signed because Triple-A Norfolk didn't have a shortstop.
The 32-year-old infielder is best known for his landmark hit Sept. 28, 2011. The game-winning, ninth-inning single in the Orioles' last game of the season knocked the Boston Red Sox out of the playoff picture and changed the course of contemporary baseball history.
