During the "State of the Ravens" news conference Jan. 10, majority owner Steve Bisciotti said, "I don't see age, I see accomplishments."
Apparently, that applies to the coaching staff as well as the players.
To replace the departed Juan Castillo, the Ravens hired 39-year coaching veteran Joe D'Alessandris Jan. 19 as their new offensive line coach.
"We had a number of very good, qualified candidates for this position, and we have the right fit with Joe," Harbaugh said in a statement. "He's a hard-nosed, experienced coach, who is an excellent teacher. He'll be able to work with our veterans to get the best out of them, and he'll take our young linemen to higher levels."
