As you know, the Ravens have missed the postseason for the third time in the last four years. It's a disturbing trend that I'm worried is going to lead to my wife planning a Martin Luther King Jr. weekend ski trip next year.
She's wanted to do it for the better part of our relationship, but I've always been able to say, "Baby, we can't, because the Ravens will probably have a playoff game that weekend." I didn't have to worry about it this year because she's pregnant, but what happens next year?
"Baby, we can't, because..."
"No they won't. They never do. Now go book a cabin."
