Tavon Young: Steve Smith Makes Everybody Better

Every indication is that the Ravens' season finale against the Bengals Jan. 1 will be the final game in the legendary career of wide receiver Steve Smith Sr.

Smith's likely future Hall of Fame career has been defined by his greatness on the field and also by his legendary fierce passion that has seemingly had no limits. After facing him earlier in the season, Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey went as far as to say "I don't respect him as a man" following an in intense battle. His rivalry with Steelers safety Mike Mitchell has highlighted the recent chapters of the Baltimore-Pittsburgh rivalry.

The 16-year receiver's intensity has not let up even on the practice field, which was evident during a recent outburst that saw him throw a helmet and storm off the field. So at what we believe to be the end of a career that has been defined by such fervent energy, I couldn't help but wonder what it's been like for Ravens defensive backs going up against Smith in practice every day.
