Why Orioles Shouldn't Think About Trading Manny Machado

Should the Baltimore Orioles trade Manny Machado? According to ESPN's Buster Olney, the team should start thinking about dealing the wondrous third baseman if the 2017 season has an unpleasant start.

After all, he's two years away from free agency, Olney argues, and the time to sign him to a long-term contract has probably passed.

For good measure, Olney suggests the Orioles prepare to think about trading closer Zach Britton and center fielder Adam Jones, too.

Machado, Britton and Jones are all scheduled to become free agents in 2018, and it's hard to think about the Orioles without them.
