Eagles' Run-Game Success Had Ravens Reeling

After his team's Week 15 home win against Philadelphia, Ravens head coach John Harbaugh had to cut his postgame news conference short due to a persistent cough.

But that was nothing compared to the considerable hiccup turned in by his run-stuffing unit.

The Ravens, holders of the NFL's best run defense going into the Dec. 18 contest against the Eagles, allowed a season-high 169 yards on the ground and barely escaped with a 27-26 win.

While Baltimore's run game was also quite robust, to the tune of 151 yards and 6.3 yards per carry, it abandoned the run at a crucial point in the game, and it nearly cost the home team.
