• San Diego running back Melvin Gordon, New York Jets running back Matt Forte, Indianapolis wide receiver Donte Moncrief, San Francisco tight end Vance McDonald and Miami quarterback Ryan Tannehill all left Week 14 with injuries.
• Time for some rules to live by: start quarterbacks against the Falcons, Saints and Packers; start running backs against the Browns, 49ers and Saints; start tight ends against the Browns, Lions and Colts; and start wide receivers against the Falcons, Buccaneers and Saints
