Patriots Closer To Perfect, Carve Up Mistake-Prone Ravens, 30-23

The television promos for this game stated, "It's not a playoff game. It just feels like one."

A class-action suit for false advertising could be forthcoming.

Playoff games are supposed to feature close scores, high drama and mistake-free football between two razor-sharp teams peaking at the right time.

But only the host New England Patriots, despite some momentary flaws of their own, displayed more positive tendencies during a 30-23 win against the Ravens at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass., before 66,829 shivering fans shivering in 28-degree weather Dec. 12.
