Pikesville Boys' Soccer Wins Improbable State Title

Since Nov. 19, Toluwaloju Runsewe admits he's felt like a king whenever he's stepped foot inside Pikesville High School.

Runsewe, the school's first-year head boys' soccer coach, should be feeling good after guiding Pikesville to its first Maryland Public Secondary School Athletics Association state boys' soccer championship. The triumph has meant there's been a lot of buzz surrounding the team.

"My mindset is always if you're going to play in a competition, to try to win it. Don't just be a participant -- try to win," Runsewe said. "This year, it didn't look like we would, but I really believed in the individual quality of the guys as soccer players."
