Elvis Dumervil Has Strong Return For Ravens

Having linebacker Elvis Dumervil around provides a big relief, and on more than one level.

On a human note, Dumervil spearheaded the Ravens' drive to rebuild homes in Haiti -- the island nation from which his parents hail -- after the destruction wrought by Hurricane Andrew earlier this year.

Matching $50,000 donations from both majority owner Steve Bisciotti and the organization were given to the effort, but the team did not want to announce the initiative until Dumervil could get back on the field after missing eight of the season's first 10 games with a slow-healing foot problem.
