The Navy Midshipmen are rolling into the American Athletic Conference championship game.

Navy routed East Carolina, 66-31, on Nov. 19 to clinch the West Division of the AAC to earn a spot in the title matchup.

The Midshipmen (8-2 overall, 6-1 AAC) close out their conference schedule Nov. 26 at Southern Methodist. If Navy wins that game, there is a chance that the AAC title game will be played at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium on Dec. 3, depending on which team wins the East Division.

Prior to the season, Navy was picked to finish behind Houston in the standings. The Mids, however, cruised past the then No. 6 Cougars, 46-40, on Oct. 8 to put themselves on course for the league crown.
